Self-clinching fastener insertion is a process of inserting engineered fasteners with compression force into a metal surface. These fasteners are engineered with knurls or expansive bases that “self-clinch” when mated with the appropriate size opening and can dramatically reduce the costs of tapping or masking threads for parts that require surface coating.

Loyal Manufacturing Corporation’s Fastener Insertion Service has provided its customer’s with precision metal products since 1975. Utilizing two self-clinching fastener insertion machines (commonly referred to as Pem Fasteners), Loyal Manufacturing can provide high volume, repeatable products with little or no custom tooling. Fasteners can be inserted prior to paint (masking available upon request) or after the paint process. Our dedicated and experienced employees strive for “Total Customer Satisfaction” and “On Time Shipping” in every part produced. Loyal Manufacturing has a wide range of standard tooling complimented by auto-feed for 6-32, 8-32, 10-32 nuts and 156-8 snap top stand offs "Other auto-feed tooling available as needed".

Loyal has significant experience with zinc plated steel, aluminum, stainless steel & hardened stainless steel nuts, stand offs, blind stand offs, and studs. Over the years fasteners have been inserted into many types of material with significant experience in carbon (mild) steel, coated carbon steel, aluminum, copper, brass & stainless steel. Refer to the “Materials Processed” section of this page for specific materials/grades.

Following completion of all customer parts, each process is analyzed to insure maximum efficiency in our manufacturing methods. Whether we are supporting the development of a unique prototype, small runs or large runs, we have the experience to suit most any need. Our goal is to find the most efficient solutions possible to maximize the value of the products supplied to our customers.
